Amazon Web Service announces more than 2 trillion (2 x 1012) objects stored in Amazon S3.



Amazon S3 since the Q3 2012 has an amazing growth. The stunning adventure has begun in June 2012 when first trillion objects have been stored in Amazon S3. Henceforth more than 2 trillion (2 x 1012) objects stored in Amazon S3 . We also learn that the service is regularly peaking at over 1.1 million requests per
second.
For those unfamiliar, Amazon S3 is an online storage web service offered by Amazon Web Services.

Amazon S3 provides storage through web services interfaces (REST, SOAP, and BitTorrent). Amazon launched S3, its first publicly available web service, in the United States in March 2006 and in Europe in November 2007.
