Since Jun 10, 2013, it is official; HTC has appointed Lorain Wong as Vice President of Global PR, Corporate and Internal
Communications.

Lorain Wong is not an unknown person, with its wide experience at ABC and CBS, as Vice President of Corporate Marketing and Communications for Qwest Asia and Head of Corporate Communications for Global One Asia Pacific, as Director of Partnership Marketing for AT&T, served as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Pacnet, Lorain Wong joins HTC with over 25 years of marketing, communications and media experience. 

Therefore this appoint seems to be indisputable choice for redesign the image and prestige of HTC.

Henceforth in his role, Wong will be responsible for leading HTC's communication strategies globally: public relations, media and analyst relations, corporate communications and issues management. In addition, she will oversee the company's internal communications function across all operating locations.’’
