Drone in military activities, and civilian activities

I have a pleasure to recall that, a drone is an unmanned and is more commonly known as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) or unmanned aircraft systems (UASes). A drone is a flying robot that is remotely controlled or flown autonomously and works in conjunction with onboard sensors and GPS systems.

Until recently, the unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were largely adopted in military activities such as anti-aircraft target practices, intelligence gathering, weapons platforms etc.
Drones also have applications in wide range of civilian activities ranging from search and rescue, surveillance, traffic monitoring, weather monitoring and firefighting.
