Innovation: Find out the Huawei storage plan in synch with Microsoft Windows Server 2012

Since September 4, 2012: Huawei, a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider, has released its storage compatibility announcement in conjunction with the launch of Microsoft Corp.’s Windows Server 2012in the U.S.

 Huawei also announces its broad technology support for this new server product’s features such as Offload Data Transfer (ODX), Server Message Block (SMB) 3.0, and thin provisioning.

With the joint effort by both sides, Huawei storage systems are fully compatible with Windows Server 2012 in various application scenarios. In addition, Huawei enhanced technology support for Microsoft's Windows Server 2012 Hyper-V and failover clustering, as well as new features like ODX and thin provisioning, is aimed to bring customers a much better user experience.

The OceanStor T series for example, including the S2200T, S2600T, S5500T, S5600T, S5800T, and S6800T; and the OceanStor Dorado series, including the Dorado2100 and Dorado5100, and OceanStor VIS6000 series.
