Google Cloud Platform in our cloud-driven world.

We are still at the early stage when it comes to cloud industry. This means inter alia that, a set of reluctances related to security and privacy remain persistent; a bunch of headaches related to performance of the apps and of on-premise development and deployment remain.
At Google, they are deeply committed to do better with open source components and technologies. So that, with Google Container Engine, you can easily create and wire together container-based services and applications and gain common capabilities like logging, monitoring and health management.
App Engine provisions network routing, load balancing, auto scaling, monitoring and logging enabling you to focus on application code. Users can run any language or library and customize or replace the entire runtime stack and you have access to the broader array of machine types that Compute Engine offers.

Google Cloud Interconnect can offer better network connectivity to support global architectures.

Desktop applications from Google Drive in Chrome.

One of the most exciting things with the modern browser is that, they become progressively a great, secure and intuitive place to work and for interaction. Thanks to Google Chrome, who actively, charts the course when it comes to modern browsers.
Henceforth, you can open  files from Google Drive directly into a compatible application installed on your computer., soon #Retinknow recalls that this includes apps like advanced image and video editing software, accounting and tax programs, or 3D animation and design tools.
To get you started, install the latest version of the Drive app for Mac or PC (version 1.18) and sync your files. Then, visit Google Drive in your Chrome browser (make sure you’re on the new Google Drive).

Finally, right-click on the file and select “Open with” to see a list of compatible applications on your computer that can open it. You can learn more in the Help Center.

Secure and usable crypto in our digital-driven word.

It is encouraging to see that, with ShadowCrypt, (a Chrome plug-in), you can encrypt your messages within a set of social media channels. But the most exciting requires that: All user communications are encrypted along all the links in the communication path.
All user communications are end-to-end encrypted; a built-in method exists for users to verify the identity of correspondents they are speaking with and the integrity of the channel, even if the service provider or other third parties are compromised.
A mechanism is implemented and not evaluating the usability and security of that mechanism.
All communications must be encrypted with ephemeral keys which are routinely deleted (along with the random values used to derive them).
Sufficient source-code has been published that a compatible implementation can be independently compiled.
Clear and detailed explanations of the cryptography used by the application. An independent security review has been performed within the 12 months prior to …

Our global Cyber Awareness System shines spotlight on Secure Messaging Scorecard.

Among our digital critical assets, communications play and will play a major role when it comes to success, go to markets and to fail.
This means that, communications deserve strong, open-source cryptography. EFF, in collaboration with Julia Angwin at ProPublica and Joseph Bonneau at the Princeton Center for Information Technology Policy, are joining forces to launch a campaign for secure and usable crypto.
Their Secure Messaging Scorecard examines dozens of messaging technologies and rates each of them on a range of security best practices.
The campaign focuses on communication technologies, including chat clients, text messaging apps, email applications, and video calling technologies.
NB: this examination do not guarantees their security; merely indications that the projects are on the right track.

Your real-time, ability to understand where you go and to master your subject is vital in our digital-driven world where security, privacy, productivity and the end-to-end competitiveness are required.
When it comes to the mobile money industry, we are still at the early stage of this emerging and disruptive technology in full expansion in the emerging countries.
This means, that a series of responsible actions necessitate maturation, for inter alia: enable the development of safe and responsible digital financial services; strengthen the digital financial ecosystem; service quality; enhance customer satisfaction; facilitate commercial partnerships; build trust with regulators and Collect, process, and/or transmit personal data fairly and securely.
Thanks to GSMA, who has launched a ‘Code of Conduct forMobile Money Providers’, outlining a series of common business principles.

The enterprise resource planning (ERP) in our digital-driven world.

The way we do business, we interact and invest is changing widely, so that, people and enterprises are  prioritizing security, privacy, performance and productivity.
When it comes to the enterprise resource planning (ERP), it is exciting to see that vendors, increase their investments in usability and functionality. They focus on user interface (UI), mobile, and in-application data.
They continue to make significant investments in toolkits and embedded analytics, and industry-specific functionality that can speed-up time to value and drive greater user productivity.
Leaders such as Infor, Oracle JD Edwards, Oracle ERP Cloud, and Microsoft are investing in new opportunities to make data richer and more current with Internet of things (IOT) initiatives and targeted, optimized mobile applications.
