Google Student Ambassador Program: Stakes and impact in Africa in October 2012

More or less knew across Africa in October 2012, the Google StudentAmbassador Program, could be an opportunity for students to improve their knowledge on Google services, or to acquire and develop personal experience.

• Learn about Google products and programs
• Plan and host events on campus
• Act as a campus contact for Google teams
• Help Google better understand each university’s culture…

October 2012, we have an opportunity to learn that Google Student Ambassadors from 65 universities in 11 African countries organized mapmaker training sessions to over 2000 students in their respective universities.

The students focused on campus departments, classes, lecture theatres, faculties, libraries, hostels, cafeterias and eateries, administrative buildings.
