Google Chrome Performance: Chart and Opportunities for Users



Since November 08, 2012, following the release of Chrome Beta, Google has published a graph which shows Octane scores.
For those unfamiliar, Octane is a JavaScript benchmark Google has designed to measure performance of ‘’real-world’’ applications on the modern web. Therefore via Octane, we can see an overall improvement of Chrome.

Regarding some initiatives to minimize wait times, Google has made some server-side changes to
Google Cloud Print , also announces been working on reducing the browser’s startup time, and setting up automated tests to catch any code changes that would slow Chrome down.
