Google Ventures up to $1.5 billion a year: Stakes and Opportunities for Startups
For those unfamiliar, Google Ventures is a venture-capital fund which aims to offer Startup Lab, a dedicated facility and educational program where companies can meet, learn, work, and share.
During the last
Founder & CEO Summit (november 09, 2012), we learnt that Google ventures expanded the size of its
fund by 50% to $ 300 million a year. The Fund plans to invest $ 1.5 billion in
startups over the forthcoming five years. This means that we will assist more
and more at Google acquisitions for the next five years.
The summit brought together
more than 250 entrepreneurs from across our 130+ portfolio companies.
Here are a few highlights from the day.
