Web RTC Conference Expo: Stakes and Opportunities around technical issues of Web RTC
For those who unfamiliar, Web RTC, is (Web Real-Time Communication) is an API definition being drafted by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), It is also the name of framework that was open sourced on June 1, 2011, which implements early versions of the standard and allows web browsers to conduct real-time communication. The goal of WebRTC is to enable applications such as voice calling, video chat and P2P file sharing without plugins.
As of Nov. 11– 29. 2012, we will assist to the launching of the WebRTC Conference
and Expo which takes place at the South San Francisco Conference
Center .The event is sponsored in part by Bistri, and will focus on:
‘’how WebRTC will transform communications landscape by offering a broad new
range of capabilities and business models based off of the WebRTC standard
media engine’’; and technical issues of WebRTC (standards, security, SIP
integration…) as well as the business applications. It also announces that, the
three day conference will kick off with a Google WebRTC Workshop and
Applications demonstrations.

In this
panel, key browser vendors will discuss their plans for putting WebRTC into
their products and how they will support all of the functionality. It will
include discussion on key user adoption issues and how the industry will
support and integrate WebRTC.
