New Update of Google Map in Europe: Opportunities around the release.

Available since December 5, 2012 for 10 countries and regions in Europe including: Andorra, Bulgaria, Estonia, Gibraltar, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Spain. This update is part of a project called Ground Truth that began in 2008.

This new update, embeds also information such as walking paths, ferry lines, building outlines, park boundaries, university campuses etc.

In December 2012, the Maps that have been build via Google Ground Truth Initiative involve more or less 40 countries worldwide.

In fact via this initiative Google via Google Maps aims to deliver you: comprehensive and accurate maps to help you explore amazing places. Therefore to help Google to improve their maps, when you notice something on the map that needs updating, you can “Report a problem” .
