New Update of VLC media player: Opportunities around bugs fixes; improvements and Support for Windows 8

From 2.0 media player to VLC media player 2.0.5 ,several bugs have been fixed plus any improvements brought.
For those who unfamiliar, The VideoLAN project that designs the VLC media Player, is a project
lead and composed by a team of volunteers, who believes in the power of open source....

The project started as a student project at the French École Centrale Paris, in 1996. After a complete rewrite in 1998, it became Open Source.

Since 2009, the project is completly separated from École Centrale Paris, and is backed up by an autonomous non-profit organisation.


The recent update 2.0.5 introduces like important step, is available since the week-end of December 15, 2012, includes:  some regressions of the 2.0.x branch of VLC fixes; introduces an important number of fixes for MKV, SWF, AIFF, RTSP, subtitles and encoding; improves the Mac OS interface, some video filters and Pulseaudio synchronization; the ability to open more formats, notably professional, HD and 10bits codecs, 2.0 .
