Since December
14, 2012, Google team developers teach us that in December 2012, the YouTube
Data API has become one of Google’s most popular APIs by request volume.
In fact during
the past 5 years the YouTube API has known a good growth with the developers. Since
December 14, 2012 version 3.0, is available in the goal to
help you make better integrated video experiences. ..
Therefore the new release aims
to be more or less easy to use and include: rich client library support;
improved tooling, reference documentation and integration with Google’s common
API infrastructure; using JSON rather than XML; Freebase integration via topics, and
universal search. In addition, we have channel bulletin post and full
subscriber list management.
