New TweetDeck version 2.3.1 available: Opportunities around Performance and multiple high-velocity columns.

Available since January 09, 2013, this new release brings more or less 90 fixes bugs and updates regarding the previous version. Therefore some major improvements include: performance upgrade for displaying multiple high-velocity columns; Introduction of a new search box with Typeahead and People Search and the ability to reduce the app window to 2 columns.
