Twitterrific: Twitter client accommodates now major improvements ad bug fixes via version 5.1.

For those who unfamiliar Twitterrific is a Twitter client which lets you browse mentions and direct messages from a single view. This means that you can quickly respond to tweets, change accounts or view conversation threads with minimum effort using gestures.

The new version 5.1 henceforth available, brings new features like: Muffling of users, hashtags &

domains ( this means :Tap and hold on a user, hashtag or domain to muffle it , Tap on any muffled tweet to “peek” at it, tap again to close, Tap and hold on any muffled item to cancel it ).

• Added new image services
• Avenir font added to themes (iOS 6+ only)

Improvements include now :  Faster load times when refreshing timelines ; Improved scrolling speed, especially with tweets using inline previews; Markers now scroll when loading more to fill gaps; Links in user profiles are now displayed correctly and can be tapped ; Added timeline previews for Flickr photos ; Flickr photos now display in a slideshow view ; VoiceOver: Compose counter notifies you when nearing the character limit
• New gesture: Drag downwards on photos or modal navigation bars to dismiss
• New gesture: Tap & hold location icon in compose to use it for all tweets you send from that account etc.

And finally bugs fixes include : Fixed an issue that caused slowdowns after extended use ; Fixed a bug that could cause a premature scroll to the top of the timeline ; Fixed an issue that could cause some tweets to post more than once;  Viewing broken images no longer makes the photo viewer difficult to dismiss . Etc.
