Google henceforth allows you to plan your afterlife with Interactive Account Manager.
It is now official since April 11, 2013 Google is launching a new feature that aims to make it easy to tell Google what you want done with your digital assets when you die or can no longer use your account. This means making plans for what happens after you’re gone.
In fact you might want your data to be shared with a trusted friend or family member, or, you might want your account to be deleted entirely. ‘’There are many situations that might prevent you from accessing or using your Google account. ‘’
Using Inactive Account Manager, you can decide if and when your account is treated as inactive, what happens with your data and who is notified.
Google announces before their systems take any action, Google will first warn you by sending a text message to your cellphone and email to the secondary address you’ve provided.
The feature is called Inactive Account Manager and you’ll find it on your Google Account settings page.
