The new Disqus profiles: to get to know and follow the people

Officially launchedin April 23, 2013 these major improvements are intended the Disqus commenter profile. The goal is to make it more or less easier to get to know and follow the people participating in your favorite online communities.

This means when you’re done checking out a profile, you can jump right back into the comments without having the reload the page or hit the back button.   

This update brings also a large follow button, two new tabs that show a user’s list of followers and a list of people that the user is
following. 

And finally you can henceforth improve your profile by uploading your own custom avatar as well as adding a short bio about yourself.
