adding the option to purchase the R720 t and R620 t with:
- 1100W AC power supplies
- Intel DC S3700 800GB Solid State Drives
- 1.2TB 10K/rpm SAS 2.5” Hard Disk Drives
- Broadcom 10GbE SFP/SFP+ with dual 1GbE NIC Network Daughter Card
- Sliding Rails
‘’All five of these new
options are additions to the solution and none of the previous options are
going away. Also, while we are adding these great options, any configuration
being purchased today can continue to be purchased without any changes. Even if
you add any of these options the system operating system image will not need to
be altered except to add support for the new option if necessary. Clearly the
power supply and rail options will not impact any software, but the storage and
networking options might require new drivers or RAID configurations in certain
cases.’’ Has said ,Franklin Flint, telecom specialist at Dell.
