Ghost, an open source and non-profit blogging platform ,available very soon.



Following the shutdown of Posterous in 2012 after be acquired by Twitter, the recent acquisition of Tumblr by Yahoo!, the Ghost project is almost in front of our PC and mobiles. For those who
have been disappointed by these recent events , Ghost will be the reconfort.
Available in Kickstarter, Ghost has already receives £141,273 pledged of £25,000 goal.  This means as of August 2013 more or less, the software will be released by digital download to Kickstarter backers before anyone else.
The Ghost includes beautiful designed, customiseable and completely Open Source. This means, Ghost allows you to write and publish your own blog.
Ghost is a Node.js application powered by the Express framework and uses SQLiteJugglingDB .
It will be available via NPM. This means simple and fast to install on all major environments.
The project is being released under the MIT License (you can do whatever you want with Ghost, and you can choose whatever license you want when you build something with Ghost).
About the People behind Ghost:
John O'Nolan is a founder of Ghost; he builds websites (but mainly blogs) with WordPress since 2005. From 2009-2011 he worked as the Deputy Head of the WordPress UI Group, to design and develop the WordPress user interface.
Hannah Wolfe is a Senior Developer at Moo.com where she is currently working with a small team focused on a little site called Flavors.me. Hannah has been developing WordPress sites for over 7 years and prior to MOO , worked as a developer for a web agency, building websites (and blogs) for large household names in the UK.
