Although the USB modem is very promoted in Africa, by the internet providers, the cybercfés remain more attractive, because they are cheap and more or less convenient. Based on the realities that, tablets consume much less power than desktops or laptops,
and don’t require ventilation, Google has decided to support the Equinox cybercafé. Located in Dakar, Equinox cybercafé includes 15 tablets.

‘’When customers start a session on the tablet, they will find popular applications ready for immediate use, and can also directly download any application of their choice. They will be able to use the device comfortably seated on a couch, go to a private booth for a video chat or set their tablet on a dock and type away on a wireless keyboard.
