New Skype for Windows Desktop 6.6 and Skype for Mac 6.6, are now available.
Always on its dynamic to
ensure a consistent Skype experience, Skype has released today a new version
of Skype for Windows
desktop, henceforth no matter what
device you use, Skype has
updated the behavior for video messaging access points when a contact is offline and the share (plus button) menu.
Now when a contact is
offline, the video call button will display as greyed out rather than showing
the video message button.
The share menu includes the
send video messaging option for both online and offline contacts. The video
message access point from the in call toolbar, has been removed and several
bugs fixed.
Regarding Skype Desktop 6.6
for Mac, Skype has

added entry points for video
messaging to the share menu (plus button). Henceforth you will now be
prompted to send a video message if your call goes unanswered for ten
seconds.
