Oracle Introduces SuperCluster T5-8: stakes and opportunities.

The battle for the high availability for Databases and Applications increasingly becomes strong. Therefore between IBM and Oracle,
all seems allowed in terms of approach and competition.  

So according to Oracle, Oracle SuperCluster Delivers 10x Better Price Performance than a Comparable IBM Solution(1) with No Single Point of Failure.

The stake is to help Customers Achieve Lower TCO and Higher Availability for Databases and Applications.

Henceforth, officially since, June, 27, 2013, Oracle has extended its lead in hardware and software engineered together with the new Oracle SuperCluster T5-8.

The  Oracle SuperCluster T5-8 engineered system aims to deliver extreme performance by co-engineering SPARC T5-8 servers and Oracle Exadata Storage Server hardware with Oracle database, middleware and systems software .
