SD Memory Cards: Toshiba has unveiled a new series offering the ‘’world's fastest’’ data write speed.



Billed as offering the world's fastest data write speed, this new series of SD cards shows the Toshiba will to innovate and improve its portfolio of services.
Unveiled today, this latest edition to its line-up of EXCERIA
memory cards is designed to offer users of high-end digital cameras an excellent experience, the EXCERIA PRO™ and EXCERIA™ cards will be launched in major markets worldwide, starting with Japan in October 2013.
Connectikpeople has discovered that, EXCERIA cards compliant with UHS-II will be available in two series. The EXCERIA PRO series will offer photographers a data write speed of 240MB/sec,   while the EXCERIA series will write at 120MB/sec.
Connectikpeople has also noted that, the cards are the first in the EXCERIA line-up to integrate a newly developed controller compliant with UHS-II the ultra high speed serial bus interface defined in SD Memory Card Standard Ver.
Key Features include: (All EXCERIA series)
1.     Compliant with the SD Memory Card Standard Ver.4.10 HD312, which defines 312MB per sec as the fastest data transfer speed under the SD Memory Card Standard Ver.4.10 UHS-II.
2.     SDHC memory cards (32GB, 16GB) are interoperable with SDHC host devices compliant with SD Memory Card Standard Ver.2.0.
3.     Integrates highly secure CPRM copy protection technology.
4.     The minimum recording speed is UHS speed class1.
