TomTom announced a brand new integration with Esri’s ArcGIS: stakes and opportunities.



TomTom in its dynamic of growing takes each step (added new features or released improvements…) as a milestone. Since yesterday, TomTom has announced a brand new integration with Esri’s ArcGIS. The goal: to provide ArcGIS users with access to
TomTom’s powerful real-time and historical traffic solutions.
This means, henceforth Esri’s users can develop more efficient and dependable routing, journey analysis and congestion management tools.
In addition they can create new applications that deliver a greater level of intelligence regarding road network usage, travel times, driving behavior and congestion.
For those who unfamiliar, ArcGIS is a comprehensive system that allows people to collect, organise, manage, analyse and distribute geographic information.
