3GPP technologies top contributors: Ericsson, Huawei, NSN, Alcatel-Lucent, Qualcomm, and Samsung.

If is observed that, there are many companies that contribute to 3GPP technologies including WCDMA/HSPA, LTE, according to ABI Research only Ericsson, Huawei, NSN, Alcatel-Lucent, Qualcomm, and Samsung stand out.

In fact Connectikpeople has discovered that, ABI Research studied
the top ten companies. The top contributors to 3GPP standards were: Ericsson, Huawei, NSN, Alcatel-Lucent, Qualcomm, and Samsung.

Therefore we can observe that the top four companies ranked across these criteria are primarily mobile network equipment vendors.
