CardConnect today announced the acquisition of SmartPay, an enterprise online billing tool developed by Onsharp.

By investing in this company, CardConnect deeply believes that, the electronic invoices market is the future.    

 Connectikpeople may recall that, the SmartPay enterprise billing tool gives a business’s customers the ability to receive, view and
pay their bills online, eliminating the need for paper invoices.

 “Now with the ability to send electronic invoices, we’re helping businesses to simplify their payment acceptance and automate the Accounts Receivables process as much as possible.” said Jeff Shanahan, President of CardConnect.

In the coming weeks, CardConnect will be releasing the SmartPay product to its existing and future merchants.
