GoDaddy Acquires Locu : stakes and opportunities.



Traditionally well known as one of the world's largest domain name provider, Web hosting provider and new SSL certificate provider, GoDaddy with this acquisition diversifies its activities and expands its portfolio of services.
In fact, since yesterday, GoDaddy has announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Locu, a San Francisco-based
company that helps local merchants "get found" online.
The negotiations started in May 2013,  have found a good line. Henceforth, with the integration, service-oriented businesses can automatically create, manage and update their menu and service lists whether they’re using a smartphone or a desktop computer.
According to the terms of agreement nabbed by Connectikpeople, Locu will continue to operate out of its San Francisco and Cambridge, Mass., offices.
