Today Toshiba announced the launch of a new line-up of low input current type transistor output photocouplers.
We recommence with Toshiba series of announcements. Today Connectikpeople
has nabbed the launch of a new line-up of low input current type transistor
output photocouplers.
According to Toshiba, they guarantee
high CTR (Current Transfer Ratio) at low input current.
“TLP182” and “TLP183” will be available in SO6 packages and
“TLP292” and “TLP293” in small SO4 packages.
“TLP292” and “TLP293” in small SO4 packages.
Pending the mass production at the end of August, 2013, Connectikpeople may
recall that, the photocouplers all incorporate Toshiba’s original high output
infrared LEDs and aims to guarantee the same CTR at 0.5mA input current and at
5.0mA input current.
Connectikpeopl has also discovered that, the LED’s stable output under high
ambient temperature guarantees operation at up to 125°C, allowing for reliable
use in industrial devices, compact power supplies and other applications that
generate high levels of heat.
Applications include: Switching power supplies, industrial devices such as
PLC and inverters, and AC line detection for home appliances.
