Acer has unveiled a 24-inch All-in-One Android-based desktop packing a NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor.

Following the release of its Acer Liquid S2, the first smartphone to offer 4K videorecording,  , henceforth with  its new DA241HL with a NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor, Acer aims to offer something more or less different , compared with what we have on the market.Connectikpeople has observed that, the DA241HL comes with access to the Google Play Store and can offer a “personalized experience” for up to 5 users. This means each user can customize settings and applications, as it looks like Acer will be putting to good use the multi-user accounts feature in Android 4.2.

Among other features , we  have MHL connectivity (for smartphone connections), HDMI and USB support and a tilting angle of 20 to 75 degrees for “comfortable touch experience.”
The DA241HL can connect to Windows 8 PC via HDMI or USB, in which case it becomes a monitor with 2-point multitouch.
In addition to the Android-based AiO, Acer has also introduced a variety of Windows 8-based AiO desktops including the Acer Aspire U5-610, Aspire Z3-105 and Aspire Z3-610.
The DA241HL will launch in mid-October 2013 with a starting price of €429, while the Windows AiOs will cost between €799 and €1,129, and hit stores in December 2013 and January 2014.
