Here is the ‘’World Record Solar Cell with 44.7% Efficiency’’

Progressively, the world is facing lot of environmental and climate challenges. If there are on the one hand a climate-septic and on the other hand, the climate evangelists, it remains clear that,  access to the energy is increasingly expensive for the middle family. But there is a sign of hope from renewable energies like solar.
Today Connectikpeople can note that among the research underway around the world,
the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE, Soitec, CEA-Leti and the Helmholtz Center Berlin jointly announced having achieved a new world record for the conversion of sunlight into electricity using a new solar cell structure with four solar subcells.
After only over three years of research, a new record efficiency of 44.7% was measured at a concentration of 297 suns. This could indicate that 44.7% of the solar spectrum's energy, from ultraviolet through to the infrared, is converted into electrical energy.
We can then observe that, this seems to be a major step towards reducing the costs of solar electricity.
