IBM Acquires Daeja Image Systems Ltd: stakes and opportunities.

that, IBM has made this today! Deaja becomes its product, following a long
time of collaboration.
The acquisition
is henceforth official; IBM has acquired Daeja Image Systems Ltd., a leading
provider of software that makes it easier for business
and IT professionals to
view large documents and images.
If financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, Connectikpeople may
recall that, Daeja technology makes it easy to view very large files, delivers
software that aims to help line of business employees across all industries,
especially data intensive ones such as banking, insurance and healthcare, get
faster access to critical business information. This means, users can open and
view hundreds of document and image file formats, even if the native
application is not present on their devices.
“The acquisition of Daeja will simplify how
business data is viewed by department or line-of-business users.” said
IBM Enterprise Content Management Business Leader Doug Hunt.
IBM intends to incorporate Daeja into its Software Group and its Enterprise
Content Management (ECM) business.
