SAP announced a new offering that aims to simplify and speeds adoption of the SAP HANA® platform.

SAP maintains its cap of attraction around SAP HANA platform. In fact since yesterday, the German company has unveiled a new offering that aims to simplify and speeds adoption of the SAP HANA® platform for customers running SAP® Business Suite software.
This means, migration of SAP Business Suite to SAP HANA can enable IT professionals to more easily replace their conventional
relational database with the high-performance of SAP HANA.
Connectikpeople has observed that, the offering automates the migration process through a series of preconfigured software, implementation services, standardized content and end-user enablement.
According to SAP, after the migration, users can enjoy more business value, reduced IT cost, and better user experiences enabled by the SAP HANA platform.

Connectikpeople may recall that, the project begins with an analysis of the database and version of the currently used SAP Business Suite. It includes the installation and updates of the SAP HANA platform and the SAP NetWeaver® platform to the latest version, and the update of the SAP® ERP 6.0 or SAP® Customer Relationship Management (SAP CRM) 7.0 applications to the latest SAP® enhancement package: SAP enhancement package 7 for SAP ERP 6.0 and SAP enhancement package 3 for SAP CRM 7.0. Lower releases of SAP Business Suite can also be addressed via the addition of an optional upgrade service.

"By removing these obstacles, we are making it easier for SAP Business Suite customers to supercharge their business dealings with the power of in-memory data management, whether deployed on-premise or through the SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud service". Said Bernd Welz, executive vice president and global head, Solution & Knowledge Packaging, SAP.
