Data center services in the United States: NTT Com will acquire 80% equity interest in RagingWire for $350 million (USD).
In this deal the NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com), doubles its data
center space in the US which will enable the company to respond to high demand
for data center services in North America.
Regarding RagingWire, henceforth this company will be able to extend their data
center platform globally, and expand the markets they serve.
Under agreement, NTT Com will acquire approximately 80% equity interest in
RagingWire for $350 million (USD). The acquisition follows a definitive
agreement reached with RagingWire shareholders.
NTT Com will also deploy RagingWire’s know-how and patented technologies
for the design and operation of highly dependable, scalable and sophisticated
data centers.

and has approximately 300 employees. The company has 650,000 square feet of
data center space at its campuses in Sacramento, California, and Ashburn,
Virginia.
According to certain sources, the U.S. market for data center services,
which accounts for more than 50% of global demand, has roughly doubled between
2010 and 2013. Therefore, NTT Com is accelerating its development via 150 data
centers worldwide and is strengthening its one-stop provision of ICT solutions,
