Tech Fundings, $152.2 million for Rayneer.tv and Xero: stakes and opportunities.
This midday, Connectikpeople
has captured about $152.2 million intended to analyze music preferences and
socio-demographic information and build online accounting software and services
for small and medium businesses.
Rayneer.tv (Founded in 2011, Zurich-based personalized music
television startup), has raised $2.2 million in Series A funding from Zurcher Kantonalbank, Wilmaa.com, and a handful of private investors.
Connectikpeople may recall
that, Rayneer analyzes music preferences and socio-
demographic information of
users and their friends through social networks and provides a personalized
music TV channel via mobile app.
Xero (New Zealand-based accounting software startup ), has raised $150 million
in a funding round led by previous investors Valar Ventures (backed by Peter Thiel) and Matrix Partners. Xero will use the capital to continue building out its online accounting
software and services for small and medium businesses. Connectikpeople may
recall that, Xero has raised over $230 million in funding since its 2006 launch
and not yet profitable.
