Huawei Service Chain Virtualization Innovation Solution passes the EANTC NFV Test

Huawei continues its global strategy of expansion. In this dynamic, after having published at the second SDN & OpenFlow World Congress Huawei service chain virtualization innovation solution, this technology has participated in the first public multi-vendor test of Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) carried out by European

Advanced Networking Test Center (EANTC).

Connectikpeople has observed that, in the test lab of EANTC, through five days testing, Service Chain passed all test cases related to Service chain programming, NFV portability, NFV resilience, NFV pooling and Service Chain policy.

For those who unfamiliar, Service Chain belongs to SoftCOM, the future network architecture of Huawei.

·        Is to implement network and service functions which previously required dedicated hardware by standard server hardware,

·        Aims to resolve the conflict between long period of dedicated hardware development and fast service innovation,

·         Provides low hardware maintenance cost and opens service innovation capability.
