Startups fundings: Mojave Networks, BTC China and SimpliVity can now aggressively grow, hire and expand their business.



Mojave Networks (founded in 2011, Bay Area-based enterprise mobile security startup), has raised $5 million in funding in a round led by Bessemer Venture Partners with participation by Sequoia Capital. For those who unfamiliar, Mojave Networks has developed a globally distributed network to secure smartphones and tablets for the mobile enterprise that detects advanced threats and secures company data. The
company will use the capital to accelerate its go-to-market strategy.

BTC China (founded in 2011, Chinese bitcoin trading platform), has raised $5 million in Series A funding from Lightspeed China Partners and Lightspeed Venture Partners. BTC China is billed as the world's largest bitcoin exchange by trading volume and the first to launch in China. The company plans to use the new funds to aggressively grow and expand the business.

SimpliVity (founded in 2009, Massachusetts-based IT infrastructure firm), has raised a $58 million Series C round led by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and Draper Fisher Jurvetson.
Connectikpeople recalls that, SimpliVity's platform, aims to optimize and simplify data center infrastructure while lowering costs for companies. This new capital will be will use to hire 150 employees in the next year. SimpliVity has raised over $100 million in funding to date.
