An amazing volume of data are generated
everyday by the social platforms, and others websites; but the main challenge
remains our ability to transform this opportunity by
creating real value for
everyone.
In this segment, Trifacta is paving its way by
enabling users to transform raw data into actionable form. This startup is developed
by computer science professors Joe Hellerstein of the University of California
Berkeley and Jeffrey Heer of the University of Washington along with Stanford
University Ph.D. Sean Kandel. Their dream is to provide an innovative user
experience coupling human and machine intelligence to close the gap between
people and data.
By closing a series B funding ($12 million)
round
led by Greylock Partners and Accel Partners, Trifacta has demonstrated its capacity to bring
to the market a new approach, with the goal to make it far easier for people to
transform raw data into useful form.
Connectikpeople recalls that, this represents the company’s second round of funding, bringing the total
capital raised to $16.3 million.
