Dear professionals, Auto Scaling support to the Amazon Web Service Management Console is henceforth available.

If unfamiliar, Connectikpeople recalls that Amazon EC2's Auto Scaling feature aims to give you the power to build systems that can adapt to a workload that varies over time.

AWS Management Console supports Auto Scaling support; this means you can now:

1.     Create launch configurations and Auto Scaling groups with point-and-click ease,

2.     can bid for Spot Instances when scaling out,

3.     Initiate scaling operations from the console and manage the associated notifications.

Connectikpeople recalls that the launch configuration provides Auto Scaling with all of the information needed to launch and terminate EC2 instances as part of scaling operations, but it doesn't actually launch any instances. To do that you need to create an Auto Scaling group.
