Startups funding: BloomThat, Truecaller, and video platform Vungle can now fund their expansion.

BloomThat (Founded in 2012, San Francisco-based flower delivery startup), has raised $2 million in seed funding from SV Angel, A-Grade Investments, and a handful of individuals including Joe Montana, Alexis Ohanian, and Garry Tan. BloomThat delivers bouquets in less than 90 minutes throughout the Bay Area. Its iOS app is available to simplify ordering. BloomThat will use the funds to prepare for
expansion into new cities.

Truecaller ( Founded in 2009, Stockholm-based mobile phone directory), has raised $18.8 million in a Series B funding led by Sequoia with participation from existing investor Open Ocean and chairman Stefan Lennhammer. Connectikpeople.co recalls that, Truecaller helps users identify all the phone numbers calling their Smartphone. Its partnership with Yelp aims to incorporate business information into their database. Truecaller has raised over $20 million to date and will use the latest capital to fund expansion to the U.S.

Vungle (Founded in 2011, San Francisco-based mobile video platform), has raised $17 million in a Series B round led by Thomvest Ventures with participation from previous backers Crosslink Capital, Google Ventures, AOL Ventures, SoftTech VC, and Webb Investment Network. Connectikpeople.co recalls that, this startup helps mobile app developers promote and monetize their apps through 15-second in-app video trailers. Vungle will continue working toward becoming a full monetization platform for publishers.
