Startups funding: EDITD, CoPromote, and PlaceIQ can now plan their expansion.

raised $4.4 million in new funding from Index Ventures and Frog Capital. EDITD provides real-time data for the fashion industry, giving fashion
buyers and designers the tools to analyze, visualize, and forecast fashion
trends. EDITD has raised around $6 million in
funding to date.
CoPromote ( Founded in 2009, New
York-based social exchange platform), has raised $1.8 million in a seed funding
led by ff Venture Capital with participation from Correlation Ventures, AlphaPrime Ventures, The Social Internet Fund, and Greg Raifman. CoPromote recommends relevant content for users to share on social media
networks, increasing sharing by 26 times per post on average.
PlaceIQ (Founded in 2010, New York-based location intelligence
startup), has raised a Series C
round of $15 million led by Harmony Partners with participation from Iris Capital and existing investors US Venture Partners, IA Ventures, and Valhalla Partners. PlaceIQ uses location data for mobile advertising, building profiles of
user behavior for ad targeting and tracking. PlaceIQ has raised over $27 million in funding to date and plans to
expand beyond mobile advertising in the future.
