The real value of LinkedIn in Asia Pacific.



In a context marked by the ramp-up of mobile messaging apps like WeChat, WatsApp, Line, KakaoTalk, Viber and Facebook Messenger, the social medias like LinkedIn encounters lot of difficulties to grow, because, progressively, these multiplatform apps also integrate  professionals features.
But LinkedIn can leverage its international reputation to penetrate this market. Its overall efforts in this market commence to produce its fruits. Today, Connectikpeople.co has captured some figures which can confirm this momentum.
So, according to LinkedIn, the company has crossed 50 million members in the Asia Pacific region. Nine countries in the region now have over 1 million members: India (24+ million), Australia (5+ million), China (4+ million), Indonesia and the Philippines (2+ million each), Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, and New Zealand (1+ million each).
Connectikpeople.co observes that, this 50-million member milestone represents nearly a tripling of LinkedIn’s member base in the region from May 2011, when it opened its
regional centre in Singapore.
Congrats LinkedIn, but this is not enough, you still have much to do in terms of connecting all professionals in Asia Pacific.
