Wireless Communication of High Quality Video: Toshiba paves its way.

OTT tuners, IP media box, wearable devices, and digital signage equipment trend obliges, Connectikpeople.co has captured today the launch of the “TZ5000 series” of application processors supporting wireless communication of high quality video.

Billed, as the latest addition to Toshiba ApP Lite™, Connectikpeople.co observes that, the “TZ5000 series” application processors integrate:

·        A baseband function compliant with IEEE802.11ac, the

standard for high speed wireless LAN,

·        Incorporate 32Gbit NAND flash memory in a single package.

The series underscores low power design, reducing power consumption.

If unfamiliar, Connectikpeople.co recalls that, ApP Lite™ (Application Processor Lite) aims to carry out efficient signal processing and to extract necessary data through image recognition, contributing to reductions of data loads.

Sample shipments will start in May 2014, with mass production scheduled to start in September, 2014.
