Funding: Rover, BrightBytes, Credit Karma, MuleSoft , Eventbrite, Banjo can now expand products , services and accelerate international.

Rover (Founded in 2011, Seattle-based pet sitting marketplace), has raised $12 million in a Series C funding led by Menlo Ventures with participation from existing investors Madrona Venture Group, Foundry Group, and Petco. Rover has raised nearly $26 million to date and will use the new investment to double its staff in the next year, invest in technology, and expand products and services.

BrightBytes (Founded in 2012, San Francisco-based educational data analytics startup), has raised $15 million in a Series B round led by Bessemer Venture Partners. This stratup has created the first SaaS-based data analytics platform to measure and link technology use in education to learning outcomes. BrightBytes currently counts approximately 10,000 schools using its platform and will use the new fund to grow its team and expand into new markets overseas.

Credit Karma (Founded in 2007, San Francisco-based online credit marketplace), has raised $85 million in a new round led by Google Capital with participation from Tiger Global Management and existing investors Ribbit Capital and Susquehanna Growth Equity. Credit Karma lets consumers access their credit scores for free and provides a range of tools and information services to monitor and manage personal financial health. Credit Karma has raised a total of $118 million in funding to date.


Banjo (Founded in 2011, Redwood City-based live content provider) has raised $16 million in a Series B round led by Balderton Capital with participation from BlueRun Ventures and VegasTechFund. Banjo indexes the world's social posts by location to deliver real-time content to consumers and recently introduced a new feature, Rewind, to allow users to access specific content from the past. Banjo has raised over $20 million to date and will put the new capital toward product development and consumer growth.

Eventbrite (San Francisco-based online events platform), has raised $50 million in new funding from Tiger Global Management and T. Rowe Price to bring its current valuation to over $1 billion. Eventbrite has raised a total of $190 million and will use the new funds to accelerate international expansion and product development.

MuleSoft (Founded in 2006, San Francisco-based cloud and enterprise integration platform), has raised $50 million in a new funding round led by existing investors New Enterprise Associates and Lightspeed Venture Partners as well as new investor Meritech Capital Partners. Cisco, Salesforce, SAP Ventures, and others participated.
Connectikpeople.co recalls that, MuleSoft provides enterprises with a cloud-based platform that simplifies integration of mobile and on-site data and applications. MuleSoft has raised $131 million to date and will put the new funds toward accelerating global growth.
