an HD camera and various smart sensors. Canary
will use the funds to hire more people and accelerate production.
Business Insider ( Founded in 2007, New York-based business news reporter),
has raised $12 million from investors
including Jeff Bezos, Institutional Venture Partners, RRE, and Gordon Crovitz. Business Insider has raised around $30 million to date and will use the
latest round to expand its newsroom and build out its
subscription service.
OnDeck ( Launched in 2007, New York-based alternative lending
company), has raised $77 million in a growth round led by Tiger Management with participation from existing investors Institutional Venture Partners, RRE Ventures, SAP Ventures, Google Ventures, First Round Capital, Industry Ventures, and Peter Theil.

to small businesses that otherwise may not qualify, making the decision within
minutes and the fund within a day. OnDeck has raised over $180 million in
equity to date and will use the new funds to accelerate new product
development, geographical expansion, and hiring.
