With Auction.com, Google Capital unveils progressively its colors.

Recently launched with the goal to invest in the

Google Capital brings a $50 million investment in Auction.com for expanding their
industry leadership.
Henceforth, Auction.com can
tap into Google deep expertise in digital marketing and mobile to boost its
visibility and commercial presence. Previously Google Capital invested in
Survey Monkey, Lending Club and Renaissance Learning.
Google Capital joins other
strategic shareholders in Auction.com including Starwood Capital Group,
Starwood Property Trust, Stone Point Capital and funds managed by affiliates of
Fortress Investment Group. Founded in 2008, Auction.com has sold nearly
$20
billion in assets since 2010.
