Funding: Crew, Runscope, and Munchery can now to expand their service and improve their technologies.

Crew (founded in 2012, Montreal-based talent marketplace), has raised $2.1 million in new funding led by Fred Destin of Atlas Venture with participation from Naval Ravikant, Real Ventures, iNovia Capital, and Boldstart Ventures. Connectikpeople.co recalls that, previously known as Ooomf, Crew is a freelancer marketplace that connects mobile and web developers with projects that fit their skill set. Crew will put the funds toward doubling its tea and automating its matching technology.

Runscope (Founded in 2013, San Francisco-based API testing service), has raised $6 million in a Series A funding led by General Catalyst Partners with participation from Lerer Ventures and True Ventures. With Runscope developers can test and debug APIs with Radar. Runscope will use the latest funds to grow its team and launch Runscope Enterprise, an API debugging tool for large companies.

Munchery  (Founded in 2011, San Francisco-based meal delivery service), has raised $28 million in a Series B round led by Sherpa Ventures with participation from Jon Favreau, Roy Choi, and previous investors e.ventures and Menlo Ventures. Users of this service can order dinners prepared by local chefs for same-day delivery each weeknight. Munchery has raised over $32 million to date and will use the new funds to expand the service to Seattle.
