Android application for Host Card Emulation (HCE) based payments: INSIDE Secure paves its way.
At Connectikpeople.co, we are progressively seduced
by the growing implementation of NFC technology, when it comes to
mobile payment and the adoption of
HCE payment standards.
Our interest for CARTES America,
leads us to talk about the new MatrixHCE product, which aims to enable mobile
payment application providers to accelerate time to market by using the
pre-validated HCE payment functionality.
For those who are not familiar, Connectikpeople.co recalls that, Host Card
Emulation (HCE), introduced on Android 4.4 (KitKat), allows:
·
contactless payments to be
made directly between the consumers' bank mobile application and the retailers
point-of-sale, using NFC technology,
·
It allows sensitive data used
to facilitate transactions to be stored on, and accessed from, cloud servers
rather than a mobile device and without the use of a hardware secure element,
·
Enables widespread deployment of mobile
payments, and more.
We seize this opportunity to
hail the solid efforts, progressively, deployed by INSIDE Secure. This company has acquired in April 5, 2014 Metaforic, with
the goal to offer the highest possible level of software security.
Henceforth, its new product MatrixHCE supports the HCE payment standards,
the software obfuscation and whitebox encryption security technologies
developed by
Metaforic.
Among its range of client security solutions for the payments market, Connectikpeople.co
has also captured:
- Micropass, for traditional card-based payments
- VaultSEcure, a hardware secure element solution consisting of chip, OS and payments applications for hardware-based mobile payments
