Hopscotch, Counsyl, iZettle, Talkspace, Wochit and AdSame can now accelerate their growth.

Hopscotch ( Founded in 2011, New York-based educational programming app),  has just announced a $1.2 million seed round from Resolute Ventures, Collaborative Fund, Kapor Capital, and other unnamed investors. Connectikpeople.co recalls that, Hopscotch is visual, object-oriented programming language designed for iPad that helps kids learn to code. Hopscotch is used by teachers and kids in more than 100 countries and has just released the 2.0 version of its app.
Counsyl (founded in 2008, San Francisco-based genetic testing company), has raised $28 million in a Series D funding co-led by Rosemont Seneca Technology Partners and Goldman Sachs Asset Management. With Counsyl you can collect DNA samples, making it easy and affordable for people to get screened for a wide range of conditions. Counsyl has raised a total of $93 million in funding and will use the latest cash toward product development and testing.

iZettle ( Launched in 2011, Stockholm-based mobile payments company), has raised a €40 million Series C round led by Zouk Capital with participation from new investors Dawn Capital and Intel Capital. Connectikpeople.co has also captured existing investors such as : Creandum, Greylock, Index, Northzone, and SEB. This startup offers payment solutions for both person-to-person and business-to-consumer e-commerce transactions. iZettle plans to use the latest funding to focus on offline transactions and back international expansion.

Talkspace (founded in 2001, New York-based therapy startup), has raised $2.5 million in seed funding from Spark Capital and Softbank. Talkspace allows users to send an unlimited number of messages to a qualified therapist for a set fee. Talkspace is looking to grow demand in the U.S. and Asian-language markets in the next two years.
Wochit ( founded in 2012, New York-based video creation platform), has raised $11.2 million in new funding led by Marker LLC with participation from previous investors Cedar Fund, Greycroft Partners, and Redpoint Ventures. Wochit allows companies to quickly respond to breaking news by producing videos from customizable templates and relevant online content found with its natural language search function. Wochit has raised $16 million to date and will use the new round to grow its sales and business
development efforts.

AdSame ( Founded in 209, Shanghai-based digital marketing company), has raised a Series C round of $30 million led by Pacific Venture Partners and Dream Capital Group with participation from existing investors Matrix Partners and Vertex Ventures.
Connectikpeople.co recalls that, AdSame provides intelligent digital marketing services such as online media planning, campaign management, and performance monitoring and optimization. AdSame plans to IPO in the U.S. market in 2015.
