Internet of Vehicles (IoV) platforms: TransWiseway and IBM pave their way.

Internet of things, smart devices or objects, and sensors, Internet of Vehicles (IoV) platforms, we are, at the early stage of this industry. This trend means lot of opportunities and potentialities by applying analytics to data, with the goal to improve decision making, living conditions, and generate new sources of revenues.
As a must-attend landmark for digital transformation, Connectikpeople.co soon Retinknow®, hails the new collaboration spirit between IBM and Beijing TransWiseway Information Technology Co. Ltd., with the goal to build the largest connected vehicles platform in China.

The cloud-based platform inter alia, will focus on in-vehicle services to mobile devices, such as weather advisories, traffic alerts and alternate route suggestions.
When it comes to Internet of Vehicles (IoV) platform, Connectikpeople.co soon Retinknow®, always recommends potentials users to focus on scalable, flexible, secure, agile and integrated platform which offers a seamless and comprehensive mechanism.

Despite a set of restrictive measures imposed by the authorities, the Chinese market drives lot of excitements, and henceforth, IBM will help build out the TransWiseway IoV platform with capabilities to connect millions of vehicles, sensors and mobile devices in real time with IBM MessageSight.

In fact, TransWiseway teamed with IBM to design an Internet of Vehicles (IoV) platform to connect millions of trucks as well as tens of millions of devices and sensors from vehicles.
Connectikpeople.co soon Retinknow®, also observes that:
1.     TransWiseway and IBM China Development Labs will set up a joint innovation lab, where a team of developers and experts from TransWiseway and IBM will use technologies from IBM to develop apps that deliver services, from transportation and fleet management to in-vehicle infotainment.

2.     The IoV platform will also allow cloud-based access to analytics generated from sensor data to enable Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) to use secure APIs to expedite the development of apps from concept to testing and development. This will include real-time traffic navigation, vehicle maintenance advisory and driver safety
alerts.
It is obvious that, with the ability to correlate events such as poor road conditions, accidents or erratic driving behavior, drivers can improve their security and optimize their performance.
