Progressively, we are going to witness how far, sensors, smart devices and objects,
and software are going to improve our living conditions. This trend is unstoppable
and the benefits are unmatched.
At Connectikpeople.co, this
propensity is at core of our global commitment as a must-attend landmark for
digital transformation.
We are excited to learn that, and uncover that, Google is building some
prototypes of its self-driving car. Designed with the goal to operate safely
and autonomously without requiring human intervention, those cars will not
require a steering wheel, accelerator
pedal, or brake pedal.
pedal, or brake pedal.
Software and sensors do all the work. As you can observe in the video and
picture, the vehicles will be very basic. They sensors embarked can detect
objects out to a distance of more than two football fields in all directions.
Google has capped the speed of these first vehicles at 25 mph, with two seats;
buttons to start and stop, and a screen that shows the route.
Pending, a pilot program in
California in the next couple of years, Google
plans to build about a hundred prototype vehicles, and later this
summer.
