Grove Labs sells indoor gardening modules that allow consumers to grow their own fruits and vegetables year round in their homes. Pending to ship its modules next year, Grove
Labs will expand its current team. 

Salsa Labs (Founded in 2009, Washington, D.C.-based management software startup), has raised $5 million in new funding from Edison Ventures and Maryland Venture Fund. Salsa Labs will use the new funding to grow its team and back further product innovation.

Hipmunk ( Founded in 2010, San Francisco-based travel search site), has raised $20 million in a Series C round led by Oak Investment Partners with participation from Institutional Venture Partners and Ignition Partners. Hipmunk presents airline flight search results in a visual timeline and hotel results on a map to simplify the travel planning process for users.
Hipmunk has raised over $40 million to date and will use the latest cash to expand its cross-platform strategy, add new verticals such as car rental, and increase hiring.
